Case Study: Energy
Whilst having successfully migrated their desktop estate to Windows 10 our
client had been having issues deploying the latest Windows feature updates
due to outdated firmware and software on aged devices.
Deploy Solutions designed, built and implemented a cloud based solution to
manage hardware driver updates for circa 55,000 Windows client devices.
The solution leveraged Microsoft Azure and Endpoint Management (Intune) to
provide centralised configuration and reporting.
Case Study: Education
Our client needed to upgrade their desktop estate to Windows 10 to remain
within Microsoft support and comply with government guidelines.
Deploy Solutions carried out an on-site discovery and produced a report of
findings and recommendations which revealed a number of infrastructure
upgrades that were required before the desktop upgrade could go ahead.
The following activities paved the way for a successful desktop upgrade.
- Upgraded SCCM to current branch to support Windows 10.
- Created Windows 10 Desktop build and deployed via SCCM.
- Redesigned Active Directory to facilitate better change management.
- Consolidated group policy settings and produced a new set of policies.
